Community Supported Agriculture featured by the leading international fair on organic food and cosmetics, "Biofach" in Nürnberg / Germany! (http://www.biofach.de)
In a dedicated workshop at the Biofach congress, several CSAs were presented (amongst them the "Lebensgarten" project in vicinity to Freiburg http://lebensgarten-dreisamtal.de/) with their different characteristics in membership composition, logistics, budgeting etc., and the participants got an overview of CSAs in different European countries, and their networks. I had the pleasure to contribute to the panel discussion on the interlinkage of Urban Gardening with such models, promoting the connection between producers and consumers.
Very inspiring workshop, with about 60 interested participants, organic farmers, consumers, retailers etc., so I hope we will see more initiatives of urban agriculture growing in the future...
